US tourist killed the most famous lion in Zimbabwe

Two residents of Zimbabwe will be brought to trial in connection with the killing of a lion named Cecil, who became a favorite of tourists.

Professional hunter Theo Bronkhorst and farmer Onest Trimor Ndlovu are accused of poaching. According to investigators, they conspired to kill the famous lion, without having the appropriate license.

Meanwhile, according to the local environmental organization Zimbabwe Conservation Squad, the order of the murder was an American tourist.

Environmentalists believe that the American paid the farmer and hunter 55 thousands of dollars for him to go on a night hunt with him.
