Trump Shares Plans for 2028 Presidential Election

The U.S. Constitution allows one person to serve no more than two terms as president, so if Trump wins this year, he will be ineligible to run in 2028, but if he loses, he can technically run again.
Host Sharyl Attkisson asked him if he thought a fourth presidential campaign was possible.
"No, I don't think so," Trump replied. "I think that's it. I don't see myself running for president again."
Trump's political success began in 2016, when he beat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to win the presidency. He then lost in 2020 when he ran for reelection to Vice President Kamala Harris.
According to Trump, this is his last attempt to return to the White House. The politician will turn 82 in November 2028.
The age issue came into sharp focus this year, when Trump, 78, was set to run against President Joe Biden, 81. But Biden, heeding calls from fellow Democrats concerned that the Democratic nominee’s cognitive abilities were deteriorating with age, dropped out of the race in July.
