Three types of people who can become millionaires

In nearly four years, journalist Thomas Corley surveyed a rich man's 233. During these interviews, he asked each 144 question. It took 18 months to summarize and analyze the responses.

In an effort to share his research, he wrote several books that told about their habits, thinking, psychology, decision making, smoking tolerance, careers, and much more.

One of the many things he learned was how they actually created their wealth.

The author has discovered that there are three main paths that the rich follow in order to accumulate their capital.

1. "Guardian Investors"

Only less than 22% of rich people in my research fell into this category. The “custodian investors” had zero debts, and the passive income from their invested savings was sufficient to meet or exceed their standard of living.

All had five similarities:

1. Small requests for life
2. They usually earned good money.
3. Their income exceeded the demands of life
4. They saved 20% or more of their income over the years
5. They have consistently and carefully invested their savings over the years.

It took 20 years for this type of rich man to accumulate 3,4 million dollars.

2. "Virtuosos"

Approximately 27% of rich people were "virtuosos". These rich people were virtuosos in their careers or professions. They were among the best in what they did.

They worked in large public corporations in which a significant portion of their salary was based on stocks, or they were entrepreneurs / owners of very profitable enterprises.

Virtuosoes took about 20 years to accumulate an average of 4 million dollars.

3. "The dreamers"

"Dreamers" was the most among the respondents. Approximately 51% of them were people who were pursuing some big dream and were able to make this dream a reality. This provided them a huge income or profit. Over the 12 years, an average of 7,4 million dollars has been collected.

If you want to be rich, it's important to choose one path that works for you and stick with it for many years. The one common denominator across all levels of wealth was time—it took many years to accumulate one's wealth.
