History first

Today in college we touched on the topic of small cities in the USA. And everyone expressed their thoughts. And they asked me about the first impression and in general a fresh look and, they say, what about you? And I shared.

In a very small (65 thousand population) town in New Jersey, a house caught fire. Then a gas exploded there and 1 person was killed and 1 was injured. For an outside observer, this is an ordinary case. And I remember I sat down in front of the TV because they were putting out the fire at 3 am. And presence at the extinguishingshaft mayor.

The house stood apart from the others. The weather was cold and rainy outside. And then it surprised me not even that the mayor came to make sure that the firemen were coping and that everything was under control. In general, the fact that he was awakened because of a fire in the house, which stood in the suburbs. And with the minimum number of victims (promenopod, it is clear that tragedy is still, even if one person).

And so I tell my classmates - I understand that you do not understand that this can surprise someone. But it really surprised me.

They were silent. No one asked to continue “how are you?” Then one says: yes, I still don’t understand this, but now, probably, I will treat immigrants more tenderly. Since you are amazed by such ordinary things, how did you live in your countries?

And I think it's good that we, for example, did not talk about people with disabilities. And then I would involuntarily disgrace Russia in all respects.

A friend of mine gave me a ride home. We drove like this - periodically she blew into a special device that looked like a physiotherapy inhaler, and in vain she remembered her husband with not at all kind words. If you don't blow into this pipe, you won't be able to go further.

The background is this: almost a year ago this same husband got behind the wheel drunk. And he turned over. Broke 2 ribs and ended up in the hospital. And after the hospital - to the judge, who ruled: 3 months in a bracelet and without a license. The bracelet takes readings from your sweat secretions and God forbid you use lotion with alcohol or even spill a glass of your wife’s wine on yourself - you’ll sit down like a cute little one. For three months he wore a bracelet. Then he went to court again. In the hope of pardon. And there was a new judge who removed the bracelet, but ordered that this same tube and camera be installed in the car for a year - so that without deception, so that it could be seen that the person was blowing, and not the pump. You drive and drive, then signal and immediately blow. If the car is just running, then you need to blow more often - “what if you’re drinking right now?” - this is exactly what the tube thinks and beeps not every 20 minutes, but every 10.

The cost of insurance for this family was $1300 per year, increased to $2600 in six months. Our principle here is this: the more sins you have as a driver, the more expensive they insure you.

And renting a tube costs money and you have to pay for it every month.

And yes, it doesn’t matter who is driving, and it doesn’t matter that the husband’s name is no longer on the insurance for this car - it was removed because it was very expensive. Doesn't matter. Does the car belong to the family of the person responsible for the drunk driving accident? Here you go!
What, I ask, I want to beat him?

She is so melancholy - at first I really wanted to. And then he went back and forth to Chicago with this pipe. And this, by the way, is a thousand kilometers in one direction only. And I sat next to her and enjoyed it all the way, and I was relieved a little.
They still have to blow and blow until November, and it’s not a fact that they will atone - it’s up to the judge to decide.

History of the third

I have been living in the USA for almost 6 for years, and I still have a lot to precipitate.

So, Eddie’s husband has a friend, and he has a lot of real estate, including a building in Sarasota (Florida). There is now a nightclub there that is not making a profit. And I tell Eddie - let's make a restaurant there with food delivery and a small store. And Eddie once had his own nightclub with a kitchen. He owned it for 2 years, and now he’s a master at this business, and that’s why he keeps saying, “I’d rather learn how to repair shoes if I have to, than open a restaurant again.” I ask - why? He: for example, the food there should only be fresh! Everything you didn't eat today goes in the trash!
I say - how often do such places get checked? He: well, when you open it, they come, and then once or twice a year they might come.
Do you understand? Once a year! This information drives me crazy.

History Four

Eddie called the younger son an hour ago (18 will be in April) and said that he was stopped by the police. They say, either with his rights, or at his age, but he has no right to drive alone in the dark. Said urgent to come to one of the parents.

And Eddie rushed over.

Comes. A child is sitting alone in a parked car. And that's all. Oh, no, and silence. Eddie says: where is the police? Mark: so they said to call you, and then wait for you. And left.

Laughter is choking me. I finished the phrase “And they left” with tears in my eyes. Tears from laughter, of course.
America, do not you get tired, I amazed ????

History of the fifth

You can increasingly see a keychain like this on Americans’ key rings. It says: “My pet is alone at home” (the translation is different, but it gets the point across).

And also the blood type and “I am a donor.”

Because no one is immune from anything ... And, if God forbid, something happens, a dog, a cat, a hamster or a goldfish will not die of hunger, and the heart will continue to live in another body.
