Three people died due to a tropical storm in the US
On Thursday, Tropical Storm Bill hit the central US with heavy rain. As a result, at least three people died, including a small Oklahoma child who fell out of his father's hands into the river.
In the southern part of Oklahoma, the city of Ardmore, rescuers found the body of an 2-year-old boy who died in the flood - he and his father were swept away by the flow of water into the river, said local police captain Eric Humblin.
Another person died in nearby Missouri, and in central Texas an 80-year-old woman lost control of the car in a storm and died on the road. Her body was found in a drowned car near Tekumsy.
Hurricane Bill, the second major tropical storm this year to hit the US Atlantic coastline, is now heading through Arkansas and Missouri to West Virginia. In some areas, up to 30 centimeters of precipitation fell per day.
