On the eve of the US presidential elections, Republican candidate Donald Trump was suspended from managing his own account in the microblog Twitter.

This decision was made by his press advisers, who consider the billionaire’s posts in the microblogging “too colorful” or “counterproductive,” writes The New York Times.

One of the last tweets Trump, regarding President Barack Obama, was edited and published by his spokesperson Hope Hicks.

“If Obama worked as hard for the benefit of the United States, as he works for Hillary’s election campaign, we would all be better off,” the report said.

According to journalists, the tweet was significantly edited by the press secretary of the presidential candidate.

During the entire election race, Trump independently posted posts on Twitter, at the moment more than 13 million users have subscribed to his page. On the social network, he commented on not only the election race, but also various events that affected the United States, and also criticized the current president, Barack Obama.
