In an interview with NBC News 31 on July 12, presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, unequivocally stated that he had no relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, had never seen him or talked, even by telephone.
“I have no relationship with Putin. I don't think I've ever met him. I have never met him,” Trump said.
When the journalist reminded him that in the 2014 year, the billionaire stated that he had relations with the head of Russia, Trump explained that he had in mind Putin's flattering remarks about him, and he repeated that he had never seen or talked with him.
However, MSNBC journalists found fragments of an interview with the billionaire for 2013-2014 years, where he says that he “talked directly with Putin”.

It seems that Trump is confused about whether he has a relationship with the head of Russia or not.
