Trump bills the Secret Service for $ 40 for guarding him

Trump's decision to bill the Secret Service for rent is unusual for an incumbent or outgoing president. All presidents are granted Lifetime Secret Service protection and other paid benefits. Historians and presidential representatives have failed to provide a similar example of a president invoicing the Secret Service.
As vice president, Joe Biden charged the Secret Service $ 171 to rent a cottage on his property in Delaware between 600 and 2011. Since becoming president, Biden has not charged rent from the Secret Service.
