Trump called on Congress to immediately cancel Obamacare

Elected US President Donald Trump called on representatives of the Republican Party in Congress to make efforts to immediately cancel the Obamacare health insurance program.
About this, Trump said in an interview The New York Times.
“We have to get down to business. Obamacare has been a disaster,” Trump said, adding that he believes Democrats also want to “fix” the program.
Trump wants a congressional vote on Obamacare next week (January 15-21).
However, he said that a replacement for the Obamacare insurance program would be developed “very quickly or simultaneously” with the repeal of Obamacare.
The elected president stressed that he would not be satisfied with the option under which Obamacare would be canceled, and the emergence of its worthy alternative would have to wait several years.
“It will not be the case that after cancellation you will have to wait 2 years for a new program,” he said.
During the election campaign, Trump has repeatedly announced his intention to cancel Obamacare. However, after winning the election he did not rule out that some of the provisions of the reform will be preserved. In early January, 2017, he called on members of the US Congress to unite and work out a less expensive health insurance program instead of the one that was adopted under Barack Obama, and Republicans submitted to the Senate resolution on the abolition of the program.
