Trump signed a decree tightening the rules for issuing work visas H-1B
US President Donald Trump signed a decree strengthening control and verification of employers using the services of qualified foreign workers who came with the US on an H-1B visa.
The decree bears the eloquent title “Buy American, Hire Americans,” reports Time.
The document also provides for an analysis of US trade international agreements for their compliance with the principles of justice and reciprocity. As a result of this analysis, some agreements may be revised.
In addition, the document requires the labor and justice departments, the National Security Agency and the US State Department to take immediate action to clearly regulate fraud and misconduct regarding work visas. For this representatives Citizenship and Immigration Services will carry out raids to identify fraudsters right in the offices of the companies where the holders of H-1B visas work.
American work visa H-1B - This is a foreign tourist visa, which allows an American company to hire a foreign worker for up to 6 years. A person cannot individually get a work visa. H-1B- an entrepreneur who wants to hire a foreigner must apply for his entry.
