Trump called the future head of the White House and his adviser

Elected US President Donald Trump decided on appointments to some key posts in his future administration, writes Air force.

The head of the Trump administration will be the current head of the National Committee of the Republican Party, Rains Pribus.

And Trump’s political adviser, Stephen Bannon, who led his campaign headquarters, will be Trump’s chief adviser as president.

In a statement, Trump called Priebus and Bannon highly qualified leaders who worked well together on the campaign trail to deliver this “historic victory.”

44-year-old Pribus during the pre-election race acted as a link between Trump's headquarters and the leadership of the Republican Party.

He is also close to the current Speaker of the House of Representatives Paul Ryan. At one time they were both elected from the state of Wisconsin. These ties will make it easier for Pribus to advance the legislative initiatives of the new head of the White House.

Trump's future chief adviser 62-year-old Steve Bannon managed to work as an investment banker and producer in Hollywood, as well as serve in the navy.

The films that Bannon produced had a conservative bent. They portrayed Reagan, Sarah Palin, and the so-called Boston Tea Party in a positive light.

In 2012, Bannon took over the news site Breitbart and vowed to turn it into a “Huffington Post for the right.”

Breitbart is associated with the alt-right movement, whose adherents reject both left-wing ideology and traditional conservatism.

The site advocates freedom of speech and the “right to be offended.” Opponents call Breitbart racist, anti-Semitic and chauvinistic.

Stephen Bannon's ideas diverge from the ideas of the majority of the Republican establishment.

Some party members even call Bannon a right-wing extremist and racist.

“We collaborated very fruitfully during the [election] campaign, and this led us to victory. We will continue this collaboration to help President-elect Trump implement his agenda,” Bannon said after announcing his new appointment.

Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff called the appointment of Bannon unsurprising, but alarming.

“His alt-right, anti-Semitic and misogynistic views have nothing to do with the White House,” Schiff tweeted.

Although in various cities are continuing demonstrations against Trump, lawmakers Democrats do not exclude that they will cooperate with the new president on some issues, writes Voice of America.

“We want to see infrastructure development, too,” says Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison. “We need to rebuild everything from public transport to fiber broadband in our rural and urban areas. This is a worthwhile program. However, we’ll see how serious he is.”

At the same time, the Democrats emphasize that they will strongly oppose Trump’s other plans, including deportation illegal immigrants and the largest tax cut in US history. No one knows what will be the first steps of Trump as president, but the composition of the team that he assembles will allow us to make some assumptions.
