Trump is turning the White House into a palace of gold: he even brought a specialist from Florida for this

In recent weeks, the president has been redesigning the White House to his taste and style. He has decorated the presidential residence with gold, as he has many of his properties, especially at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
Back in March Tramp spoke about his gold design in an interview with Laura Ingram. He said the Oval Office "needs a little life" and argued for the gold's virtues as a symbol of angels.
"They say angels bring good luck," the president said of his "all-gold" White House renovation. "And we need a lot of luck in this country given what they've done in the last four years."
"Golden Boy"
To realize your vision, Tramp enlisted the help of a man from Florida whom his advisers began to call "the golden boy."

He even personally flew the man to the White House on Air Force One.
John Icart is a cabinetmaker from South Florida who apparently worked on some similar projects at Mar-a-Lago. Icart reportedly helped plan many of the custom gold trims that now adorn the Oval Office.
The craftsman added gold accents to the Oval Office mantel and the moldings that wrap around it.
"This is a golden office for a golden age," said White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt.
Trump apparently oversaw the renovation personally, even bringing in gold cherubs from Mar-a-Lago to be installed in the White House.
Look at the difference
Recent photos of the Oval Office show the extent of Trump's renovation. Along with gold trim, gold trophies have been placed on the mantelpiece, replacing the plants that once stood there during the Biden administration.

Trump also increased the number of presidential portraits hung throughout the office and replaced the navy blue carpet with the cream carpet used by Ronald Reagan.

Outside the Oval Office, the president unveiled gold coasters bearing his name, and touted his plans to build an outdoor terrace in the Rose Garden and expand the East Wing to include a ballroom.
