Trump announced the start of vaccination against COVID-19 in the United States
First line workers, medical personnel and the elderly are vaccinated against COVID-19, writes Fox News.
On Thursday evening, November 26, President Trump announced that supplies of the coronavirus vaccine would begin next week.
“The whole world is suffering, and we are breaking the curve,” Trump said. “The vaccine will be delivered next week or the week after.”
The announcement was made on a teleconference during a special Thanksgiving holiday message to US troops overseas. Trump noted that first line workers, medical personnel and the elderly are vaccinated first.

He also argued that Joe Biden's role in the rapid delivery of vaccines to the United States should not be credited.
“Joe Biden failed the H1N1 swine flu, failed it completely,” Trump said. “Don’t let him take credit for getting vaccinated because I was the one who pushed people to do it more than ever before.” We got approval and no one had ever seen anything like it."
Trump's comments came ahead of the Dec. 10 meeting at which FDA regulators will consider Pfizer's request for an emergency use of a vaccine developed with BioNTech.
The latest vaccine test data from Pfizer and BioNTech, released earlier this month, showed it was 90% effective.
