1. Fitness Club Membership

January is an ideal time to purchase gym membership cards as high demand causes establishments to lower prices and waive surcharges, which can range from $10 to $100 per year depending on the gym; some venues also offer a free introductory period.

However, before acquiring membership, you should carefully read the conditions, since some fitness clubs provide for penalties for those who, after acquiring an annual membership, decide to terminate the contract.

2. Bedding and towels

In January, the sale of white things was traditionally held, which initially extended to white sheets and towels. But over the years, the tradition has expanded to include bedding, towels and bedding of any kind. Discounts for these products in January range from 50 to 70 percent.

3. Clothes, especially winter

Most of the stores in January are trying to make room for spring collections of clothes and for this they arrange sales of winter clothes, including all kinds of clothes, shoes and bags. Discounts can reach 90%.
