Top 50 best American employers
No employer is perfect. But some, according to employees, came close to the ideal.
Based on anonymous feedback from employees about their employers, Glassdoor compiled a list of top 50 best places to work.
The primacy of the staff gave Airbnb, an international housing search company.
“Amazing people, a vibrant workplace and an unrivaled company culture, really... Plus insurance, benefits, food, parties and career opportunities,” says one Airbnb employee in San Francisco.
Global consulting company Bain & Co. was in second place. Employees noted the high career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values of the organization. First place overall Bain & Co. did not receive it only because her employees gave rather low marks on the point of balance between work and personal life.
The third place in the ranking was received by the manufacturer of software Guidewire. This company has earned the highest points for the balance between work and personal life of employees.
“The company trusts employees, which provides tremendous flexibility in working hours. This is probably the number one reason why we were able to retain the most talented employees who came to us,” said company employees in the California office.
Top-of-the-line 5 is completed by the online marketing company HubSpot and Facebook. Right behind them are the social network LinkedIn, The Boston Consulting Group and Google.
