Top 5 of the richest and poorest counties in the USA
Residents of each region of the United States have different incomes, sometimes they do not differ from state to state, but even from district to district.
Edition Time compiled a list of the richest counties in the United States, based on the average adjusted gross income of its residents for 2015 a year (later data are not yet available).
McMullen County, Texas, located in the heart of the shale area Eagle ford south of San Antonio, turned out to be the richest; it has the highest average adjusted gross income in the United States: $ 303 717.
Teton County, Wyoming came in second with $248.
The five leading districts look like this:
1. McMullen, Texas - $303;
2. Teton, Wyoming - $248;
3. New York County, New York - $210;
4. Glesscock, Texas - $181;
5. Marin, California - $158.
The poorest were the districts:
5. Crowley (Olney Springs, Colorado) $ 36 349;
4. Marion (Yelville, AR) $ 36 344;
3. Lauderdale (Ripley, Tennessee) $ 36 336;
2. Bamberg (Bamberg, South Carolina) $ 36 331;
1. Dallas County (Buffalo, MO) $ 36 290.
