Large recruiting portal Glassdoor.com, has published the ranking of the best vacancies in the United States at the moment. It is reported that the main criteria in the preparation of the ranking were the level of wages, the demand for the specialty and the opportunity to move up the career ladder.
Leadership in 2016 rating of the year belongs to data scientists: average salary is about $117 thousand per year, the highest demand rate and more than 1700 open vacancies at the moment.
“This is a very hot job,” says Glassdoor analyst Scott Dobroski. “In this category, demand significantly outstrips supply.”
In last year’s ranking, data processing specialists occupied only 9’s place in the ranking. According to Dobroski, this is explained by the fact that more and more companies are looking for specialists who can turn statistical data into real incomes.
Technological specialties in general occupy fairly strong positions in the ranking. For example, software developers, located on the 12 line, lead on the average patch ($ 135 thousand), and the best coefficient of demand for software engineers (more than 9 thousand open vacancies) going to 49.
If the financial sector is also represented in the ranking by a number of specialties, the rates for medical vacancies have noticeably deteriorated. Last year, the assistant doctor was in the first place in the Glassdoor rating, and in this he dropped to the seventh line. In addition, a paramedic turned up at the 23 site.
Time.com notes that more than half of the 25 specialties include the word “manager,” indicating that companies in various fields are looking for employees with at least minimal work experience.
