Top 15 Vegetables and Fruits with the Least Pesticides
You've probably heard of the "dirty dozen", but what about the "clean fifteen"? Practically, this is the same thing, but only in reverse: if the “dirty dozen” lists fruits and vegetables with the largest amount of pesticides, then the “clean fifteen” lists those with the lowest content. Who is on this list in 2023, the publication said CNBC.
The Environmental Working Group (EWG) is a non-profit organization. She is involved in environmental health and evaluates products for pesticide content.
The 2023 list is based on federal data from more than 46 samples of 000 fruits and vegetables that have been tested for pesticides.

Unlike strawberries and spinach, which topped the Dirty Dozen, avocados and sweet corn took the top two spots in the Net XNUMX. Pineapples and cabbage also made the list.

"Nearly 65% of Clean Fifteen's fruit and vegetable samples contained no detectable pesticide residues," the EWG report notes.
All samples from the top six products on the list failed to test positive for more than three pesticides. And for avocados and sweet corn, "less than two percent of the samples showed any detectable pesticides."
