Only good: in Kyrgyzstan they want to ban criticism in Russian and English

He believes that all the bad things that are happening in Kyrgyzstan should be written only in their native language and in no case in Russian or English. Then, the deputy is sure, foreign tourists simply will not be able to learn anything bad about the country: after all, few of them own Kyrgyz.

According to Zhaparov, similar rules from 2004 of the year are valid in Georgia:

“In Georgia, I didn’t read a single news about the incident for three days. When I asked why this was so, they told me that in 2004 the president appealed to the people to write all negative things only in Georgian. And write about good events in Russian and English,” he said. – You must make asymmetrical moves and also appeal to the people. If we want to attract tourists, if we want to receive guests, then we must hide all the bad and show only the good.”

The reaction of the minister to this proposal is unknown. However, most people in Kyrgyzstan today speak Russian on a par with Kyrgyz. Also in the country there are several popular media resources in Russian.
