A Texan who tried to shoot an armadillo ricocheted a bullet in the face
A Texas resident was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to his jaw after he tried to shoot an armadillo passing by his house.
As a result, the bullet flew off the shell of the animal and shot the man’s face, reports USA Today.
A man, whose name is not called, found an armadillo in the yard of his house in Marietta, Texas, early in the morning of August 4 and decided to get rid of the animal, but he suffered from a ricochet.
At the local hospital, the man was helped, the wound does not threaten his life. The fate of the battleship is not reported.
Police are investigating the incident as “random shooting”.
Armadillos are objects of hunting in America, since their white meat is considered a delicacy, and shells are used to make souvenirs and musical instruments.
