Terrorists from the Gaza Strip fired Tel Aviv missiles. Israel responded powerfully. VIDEO

On Thursday, 14 March, Hamas hit Tel Aviv (Israel) with rockets, and an alarm was declared in the country.

According to preliminary data, two rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip, writes “Columnist". The information was confirmed by the Israeli Defense Forces.

One of them was shot down by the Iron Dome air defense system over Holon. Another missile landed, according to local media, in the sea. In Tel Aviv, the missile warning system went off. Many residents report the sound of explosions.

Israeli Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Benjamin Netanyahu immediately flew to Tel Aviv, to the base of the General Staff. The municipality of Tel Aviv has opened public bomb shelters for citizens.

Eyewitnesses reported falling rocket debris in the northern part of the city. Another piece of the rocket fell on a residential building in Holon.

According to doctors, some residents suffered from panic attacks, in connection with which they were provided with medical assistance.

One victim was also reported: an 10-year-old boy received minor injuries as he reached the shelter.

As Channel 9 clarifies, the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization took responsibility for the shelling. According to the terrorists' statement, Fajer-75 missiles were fired at Tel Aviv.

Note that Tel Aviv was shelled for the first time since the summer of 2014.

Israeli Finance Minister Moshe Kahalon said on Twitter that Israel would "respond as necessary" to the missile attack. “All organizations in the Gaza Strip are terrorist organizations and should be treated as such,” he wrote.

After that, it became known that on the night of March 15 Israel announced the launch of attacks against targets in the Gaza Strip.

Recall that on October 7 Israel Air Force inflicted air strikes on the Gaza Strip in response to the night attack of the city of Beer Sheva.

And on the night of October 27 from Gaza through Israel was released no less than 16 rockets. The Israeli military responded with powerful blows.
