Texan using a stick trying to hijack a jet

Armed with a stick, a man attempted to steal a business jet at a Texas airport. Before that, he had demolished the gate on the car, closing the passage to the runway.

The man, whose name was not disclosed, has a history of mental illness. He was known to police from the department in Waco, Texas.

The suspect made his way by car through the gate to the Waco Regional Airport, was seen by the Texas Aero staff when he tried to get inside the plane, helping himself with a stick. When the airline employees told the man that he shouldn’t be there, he replied: “I’m nobody, do not worry.” Employees of the airline called the police, and the patrol on duty detained the offender. For this, it was necessary to use force, since the violator did not fulfill the requirements of the law enforcement authorities. The plane, which he tried to seize, belongs to a private company.

Now a pseudo-hijacker is undergoing a psychiatric examination in one of the clinics.
