However, most taxi drivers try to serve customers with high quality. Emir Ayed, a taxi driver from Greater Boston (USA) and a driver with 12-year-old experience, spoke about the nine habits of passengers that most irritate him and his colleagues.

1. People treat taxi drivers like their slaves or even worse.. Emir Ayed complains that some passengers whistle to call a taxi driver, and when they get into the car without welcoming the driver, they immediately shout where they need to go.

2. People sit in a taxi, although they can walk to the place they want.. Short-distance trips are unprofitable for taxi drivers in terms of profit. However, there are situations where the end point of the path is within walking distance, but walking brings a lot of trouble.

A few years ago, the passenger Ayed needed to drive only a few blocks, but it was raining, and she was wearing high heels. Having asked Aied to give her a lift, the generous woman paid the taxi driver three times the cost of the trip.

3. Passengers during the trip shout, on which route the driver should go. Taxi drivers are annoyed when at every turn, and often at the last second, passengers shout out where to go next.

Taxi drivers are competent enough to independently understand which route is shorter. And if a person wants to go on a particular path, he must say about it even before the departure of the car.

4. Passengers are asking the driver to break the rules.. Instead of asking the driver to go through a red light, because the passenger is late for the airport or for an important interview, taxi drivers advise people to leave the house earlier.

5. Kisses and something more in the back seat of a car. The taxi driver is not a personal driver, and he wants to be respected and controlled by his emotions.

6. Passengers eat in the cabin. Emir Ayed complains that many passengers drop into the lounge with hamburgers and leave behind crumbs and greens that have fallen out of the bun. The taxi driver says that people could, at a minimum, ask the driver if you can eat in his car.

7. Passengers are too drunk. Often, passengers scare or fall asleep in a taxi. Drivers advise people not to get drunk to an inadequate state or get into a car with a more sober friend.

8. People do not leave a tip. Taxi driver is not the most profitable profession. Emir Ayed says that tips play a crucial role in ensuring the existence of the taxi driver profession. The driver is offended that some passengers leave scanty tips, and some do not leave them at all.

9. Passengers use the mobile application to call a taxi. American taxi drivers hate the Uber app, which lures their potential customers by offering lower fares. In traditional taxi drivers, this reduces profit.
