And since 2017, Krushelnitsky has been saying the same thing. He said the sheer volume of traffic - in a difficult-to-navigate area - shows that "the number of ships and aircraft missing in the Bermuda Triangle is the same as anywhere in the world in percentage terms." He says both Lloyd's of London and the US Coast Guard support the idea. Lloyd's of London has followed the same theory since the 1970s.

NOAA says environmental features may explain most of the disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle, highlighting the Gulf Stream's tendency to cause dramatic weather changes and the number of islands in the Caribbean that make navigation difficult. It has been proven that the Bermuda Triangle has a strong magnetic field - a compass may point to true north rather than magnetic north, which causes confusion during navigation.

Krushelnitsky regularly attracted public attention by broadcasting precisely these thoughts about the Bermuda Triangle. He stuck to the same idea: numbers don't lie.
