Surprise: at a check at the airport, it was discovered that the family accidentally took a cat

The couple was supposed to fly from the Isle of Man to New York to celebrate the 40 anniversary of one of the spouses. But the spouses were stopped by the airport security service. It turned out that their domestic cat quietly sneaked into the hand luggage, and the owners, unaware of anything, took her with them.

Nick and Vuarry Cool were stopped at the airport for an additional security check. The couple was shocked to find during this check one of their three cats, hiding in the luggage, writes The Daily Mail.

At first, both were perplexed - what smuggling might be hidden in their hand luggage and why security officers decided to search their bag. The spouses were asked to go into a special room, and then they were really scared. It turned out that a cat was hiding in their bag.

Fortunately, the couple nevertheless flew to New York on time after Vuarry's father, Barry, instantly rushed to the airport and took the pet.

“We have three cats, and one of them, Candy, loves to get into bags and boxes,” Nick says. — We didn’t have much carry-on luggage because we wanted to bring some shopping home. But the cat had another idea. She must have snuck into the bag before we left for the airport. I couldn’t hear her on the road.”

The couple expected their luggage to be routinely passed through scanners at the airport, but staff noticed something unusual.

“When we got to the check, we didn’t have to open the bag - there was nothing there. We just put it on the conveyor belt. The airport security officer was very confused and repeatedly asked us what was in the bag. Our guesses are exhausted. My wife even asked them: “It’s not a cat, is it?” - Nick recalls.

“When they told us it was her, we were horrified. We were worried about what to do next, because I had never seen any rules on this matter,” the man continued. “Fortunately, the staff were wonderful and helped us arrange for Candy to be brought home. So we still managed to fly away. While we are enjoying the trip, my wife’s father is looking after the cat.”
