The pilot's son wanted to fly all his life: about the Armenians on the crashed An-148

There were two Armenians on board the An-148 of Saratov Airlines, which crashed on the way from Moscow to Orsk.

Sergei Gambaryan, the co-pilot of the crashed ship, had dreamed all his life to follow in the footsteps of his pilot father and made considerable efforts to do this.

Sergei Gambaryan's father, Arsen, commanded the Il-86 crew for many years and was highly respected by his comrades and colleagues. The man lived and worked in Moscow.

His son, Sergei, worked in aviation for many years, but this was not enough for him: he wanted to go to the sky. And already in adulthood, he entered and graduated from the St. Petersburg University of Civil Aviation, becoming a pilot.

Sevoyan Varsik was also on board; she was born in a village off the coast of Sevan in Armenia. She got married in a neighboring village, to Martoyan Hunan. They left Armenia in 1997 and have been living in Russia ever since.

A week before the catastrophe, Hunan was in his native village, at the funeral of his nephew, then went back. In Orsk, where the plane was flying, he was waiting for his wife from Moscow, but, unfortunately, they were not destined to meet again.

Recall, the plane "Saratov Airlines", performing a flight from Moscow to Orsk, disappeared from radar through 7 minutes after departure from Domodedovo 11 February. The plane crashed near the village of Argunovo in the Ramenskoye district of the Moscow region, all the people on board - 71 people - died.
