Southern California's Super Flowering: 6 Best Places to Observe Poppies

In the second half of March, a superbloom began in Southern California - many parks and fields are simply dotted with charming orange poppies.

If you want to admire this beauty, there are several places in the region where this can be done, while avoiding huge crowds in mega-popular Walker Canyon, which officials temporarily closed March 17 after thousands of people trying to see flowers and take photos, created a huge traffic jam on highway number xnumx, writes USA Today.

Antelope Poppy Reserve

Poppies are currently blooming on the eastern side of the reserve, located in the Mojave Desert near the city of Lancaster. You can also see these flowers along the Pearbloss Highway, which starts west of Victorville and reaches for the reserve.
