A Russian-speaking immigrant attempted to stab a singer in a Florida restaurant.

Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, police are investigating a stabbing at a local restaurant. The incident occurred early in the morning of November 30, leaving one man injured, according to reports. CBS News. According to information Hoodline, the victim's condition is stable, and the suspect has been taken into custody.

According to police, a call came in from the Crystal Lounge restaurant at 152 Sunny Isles Boulevard around 3:00 a.m. Officers arrived at the Crystal Lounge (a restaurant and hookah lounge serving Mediterranean and Russian cuisine) to find a man with stab wounds. The victim, who was attacked at the entrance to the establishment, was rushed to surgery.

According to police, he is recovering and is in stable condition.

A second man, identified as Bagrat Vladimirovich Garamov, was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder with a weapon or firearm.

Bagrat Garamov is currently being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Centre. Police are asking anyone with information to call the tip line. Crime Stoppers Miami-Dade County to assist in the investigation of this or other cases.

According to WSVN, the victim was a singer, and his employer, Garamov, attacked him. The brutal scene was captured on video by a bystander: the recording shows the victim attempting to escape while the attacker repeatedly stabs him in the neck and arm, after which bystanders intervene. The weapon used in the attack was never found.

At the hospital, the singer told police he remembered sitting inside the establishment before the attack and then bleeding profusely, but he allegedly forgot the events that took place during the attack. Blood stains consistent with the injuries were found on the lounge floor. All materials were entered into the case as important evidence.

The investigation continues.
