The court forbade Trump to abolish the program of "dreamers" DACA

The District of Columbia Federal Court ruled that the administration of US President Donald Trump did not have the right to deport 700 thousands of “dreamers” - illegal immigrants brought into the US by children.

White House lawyers could not prove the illegality of the DACA program, which protects these illegal immigrants from deportation, in connection with which the court forbade its cancellation, reports Rtvi.

At the same time, the court provided for an 90-day postponement of the entry into force of its order, to give the authorities time to find a convincing reason for the termination of the DACA.

If within three months the Trump administration fails to prove the program’s illegality, the government will be obliged to renew DACA and reopen the acceptance of applications for it.

To give up Trump administration, apparently, is not going to. The Department of Homeland Security said they would seek to ensure that the DACA program would still be closed "for the sake of the security of the United States and its citizens." Do not change the view and the White House.

A lawsuit in the Federal District of Columbia in defense of the DACA program was filed by the student of Princeton University Maria De La Cruz, who was given the opportunity to stay in the country under the DACA program. She was able to explain to the judge that the “dreamers” and young immigrants are talented people whom the US should not refuse. Despite the 90 day delay, the “dreamers” in Washington are already celebrating victory.

Meanwhile, in Tijuana, on the border of the USA and Mexico, about 130 people gathered from a migrant caravan, which initially numbered over a thousand people, there are citizens of Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. Refugees do not lose hope to get to the United States, although the staff of the Mexican immigration service once again explain: to be on the other side will not work. US President Donald Trump gave the order to stop the onset of immigrants from the "refugee caravan" if they try to break through the border. By order of the president, the National Guard joined the guard of the southern frontiers.

It was through this border in the two thousand years that the so-called “dreamers” - the children of illegal immigrants - fell into the United States. Minors brought them to the United States, their parents in most cases still live in the country without documents and without the right to work. But the "dreamers" were able to legally live in the United States. In 2012, Barack Obama signed the DACA program: she allowed almost seven hundred thousand “dreamers” to stay in the country and officially work. At the same time, the program does not provide for obtaining citizenship.

Donald Trump, in a rush to fight illegal immigration, decided to curtail the DACA program. He said that Obama had exceeded his authority and illegally allowed hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants to stay in the country.

Recall Donald Trump announced the closure of the program DACA in September 2017 of the year, setting its termination date to 5 March. But later, a court considering the legality of the presidential decision to cancel the program, said that it would be valid until the end of the trial.
