Shooting at a student party in Texas: there are dead

Two people were killed and 14 were injured as a shooter opened fire at a university party in honor of the start of the school year in Texas, writes the Babel.

The incident took place in Greenville, near Dallas, where Texas A&M Commerce students were celebrating an alumni reunion.

The shooter has not yet been detained, his motives and whereabouts are unknown. Police believe he used a semi-automatic rifle. Reporter Jason Whiteley wrote on his Twitter that about 750 people were supposed to come together for the party.

It is estimated that hundreds of former and current university students were in the room during the shooting, and more than 100 thousand students were at the football match on campus that day.
