Despite the increase in the construction of apartment buildings, the researchers predicted a rise in price of rent in Southern California.

Presumably, the average rent for an apartment in Southern California in the next two years will increase by 100 dollars.

According to USC Casden Multifamily Forecast - an annual report from Beacon Economics and USC's Lusk Center for Real Estate - the average fee in Los Angeles County will reach 1 416 dollars per month in 2018 year. This is 8,3% higher than last year. However, in Orange County, the average fee will increase by 9,4% and, on average, be 1 736 dollars per month.

Researchers say that the population is growing faster than the market is filled with new housing.
