In Carolina, killed one of the most wanted maniacs

The man, who was accused of a series of violent sexual assaults in Los Angeles, was shot dead by FBI agents. It happened on Wednesday, February 13, in North Carolina.

In the fall of 2018, Greg Alin Carlson was on the top ten most wanted FBI criminals.

Agents tracked him to a hotel in Apex, North Carolina. According to John Strong from the FBI field office in North Carolina, a police officer saw a criminal's car in the hotel’s parking lot.

When the agents entered his hotel room and asked to lower the weapon, the offender resisted, resulting in fatal injuries.

Greg Alin Carlson accused burglary at 2017 in Los Angeles, which turned into a violent sexual assault on a woman. “This man is a serious threat to the community,” said Special Agent Scott Garriola, then an FBI member in Los Angeles. “Investigators have also linked him through DNA to sexual assault since the year 2003.”

Carlson was arrested by local authorities 3 on September 2017 of the year for an attack in Los Angeles and charged with burglary, an attack with intent to commit rape and the use of deadly weapons. Three weeks later he was released on bail and fled.

Carlson went to a family home in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and fled with a stolen gun, a rented car and a significant amount of cash. In November 2017, he was spotted in Hoover, Alabama. A week later, the fugitive was seen in cities in the state of Florida Jacksonville and Dayton Beach.

For information about him then promised reward of up to $ 100 000.
