The US has made the most important agreement over the past 20 years.
The United States has a trade agreement with eleven countries. The document on the establishment of the Trans-Pacific Partnership was signed by Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. These countries form forty percent of world GDP.
As noted by Bloomberg, this is the main trade agreement for the United States with 1994, when the agreement on the creation of the North American Free Trade Zone was signed.
Supporters of the treaty argue that thanks to this document it will be easier for Americans to sell their goods on the international market. Opponents insist that it, on the contrary, will damage the US position, since their market may be oversaturated with foreign goods.
The creation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership took five years. The final negotiations concerning the pharmaceutical industry took a week.
