US will give Ukrainians $ 100 thousand to study at Harvard, Stanford and Yale

The US government intends to finance the training of Ukrainians in the best American business schools to help Ukraine get out of the crisis. The Western NIS Enterpise Foundation will pay up to one hundred thousand dollars to anyone who enters Harvard, Stanford or Yale. The only condition: after two years of study, return to work in Ukraine. The US government calls this "investment in the future of Ukraine."

To receive a generous scholarship from a charitable foundation, you only need to successfully enroll in an educational institution. The program promises to cover up to 100% of the cost of education. Five Ukrainians have already taken advantage of the scholarship in 2015. And in 2016 in the USA, 40 scholars will go to Ukraine for higher business education.

So far, there are few Ukrainians in American universities, because education there is very expensive. MBA diplomas in the United States receive no more than 10-15 Ukrainian students per year. To start, they want to increase this number to at least 200 - about as many students from Poland and Turkey receive business education in the States each year. There are no restrictions - the training is ready to pay everyone who will pass to one of the universities listed above.

US Ambassador to Ukraine Jeffrey Payette stressed that after participating in the program, the fellows will not be able to stay in America and will have to return to Ukraine without fail. “Of course, we welcome the contribution of Ukrainians to our economy, but the essence of the program is that you will return home and will help build the economy of your country.”
