Firstly, English language study programs, which must be accredited in accordance with the Law on English Language Teaching Programs. Second, the changes concern students with type visas. F1who apply to extend the 24 month practice (OPT) in technological, engineering or mathematical fields and exact sciences (STEM). The rules require them to use accredited scores. SEVR-certified schools as a basis for extending the practice. The school must be accredited at the time of application, and this date is indicated in the form Form I-20.

Students enrolled in accredited ACICS school, you must contact your school representatives immediately to see if a loss of accreditation will result in loss of student status F or M.

If accredited ACICS the school voluntarily refuses certification in the Information System of students and participants in the exchange program (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System, SEVP), then international students studying in these schools have 18 months to switch to a certified program Sevpto continue its training program until the current end date of the session specified in the form I-20 (but not more than 18 months) either leave the USA.

Pupils of schools accredited ACICS, will only be allowed to complete their studies before the end of the session if the school decides to withdraw its certification voluntarily or it will be withdrawn Sevp.
