United States again issue visas
The United States resumed issuing visas to foreigners. It was suspended two weeks ago due to technical problems.
A spokesman for the US State Department, John Kirby, said that only on Monday, US embassies and consulates abroad issued 45 thousands of visas, of which a third was issued in China.
According to Kirby, the problems are not fully corrected, but they do not interfere with the work of diplomatic missions.
Last week, Kirby announced that US consulates and embassies abroad had stopped issuing visas to the United States. According to him, the reason was the breakdown of equipment for the transmission of biometric information.
