The presentation and transfer of the hospital solemnly took place in Zhytomyr.

As the US Embassy in Ukraine notes, this military field hospital, known as EMEDS (Expeditionary Medical Support System), is a lightweight, compact intensive care unit that can be pushed into a wide range of combat operations for emergency medical services.

It can, in particular, be used to treat the wounded, stabilize patients and prepare victims for medical evacuation to higher-level treatment facilities. Primary health and dental care, general medical protection services for military personnel are also provided.

The hospital is designed to employ thirty doctors and auxiliary medical workers. He can provide medical care to three thousand soldiers. It consists of four tents, unfolds over 24 hours and can operate autonomously, without supplies, for up to ten days, the US said.
