US plans to tighten the entry ban on foreigners
The administration of US President Donald Trump is considering a proposal to strengthen the ban on entry to the United States for foreign nationals.
This was stated by adviser to the President of the United States on national security Herbert McMaster on the air of the TV channel ABC.
“If you can't effectively screen people to understand who is coming into your country, then you shouldn't allow people from a certain country to come,” McMaster said.
He said the travel ban is the first step to “improving border screening and better information sharing,” adding that it is all done to protect Americans.
McMaster explained that the ability of terrorists to communicate and move around the world helps them get additional funding, and therefore it is important to stop it.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump, commenting terrorist attack in london metro, said that the ban on entry into the United States for foreign nationals should be much tougher.
