US and France will increase the bombing of the positions of jihadists

The US authorities, together with France, intend to intensify air strikes against the positions of the "Islamic State" (IG) in Syria and Iraq. This was stated at the G20 summit in Antalya by Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Ben Rhodes, commenting on the terrorist attacks in Paris.

“We will [fight] the French shoulder to shoulder. They are full-fledged participants in the military campaign in Iraq and Syria. It's clear they want to increase our efforts," Rhodes said. He added that IS militants will soon realize that they have no safe haven left.

In Paris and a suburb of Saint-Denis on the night of November 14 there was a series of terrorist attacks. Responsibility for terrorist attacks IG took over.

France in the international coalition led by the United States since last year strikes the positions of IS militants in Iraq, this year the country's air forces began attacking the IS in Syria.

The Islamic State grouping in the summer of 2014, captured a large part of Syria and Iraq and proclaimed a caliphate there. In addition to the international coalition of 59 states, the fight against terrorists is led by the official authorities of two Arab countries, the Syrian opposition, the Kurdish militia and the Russian aviation.

Previously, the group controlled by the “Islamic State” claimed responsibility for the crash of the Russian liner in Egypt.
