The United States will check what Ukraine spends the aid received from them: a monitoring group has already left for the country
The United States has created an institution to monitor and investigate the illegal actions of fraudsters and corrupt officials using the help of the American people in Ukraine during a full-scale Russian invasion. Writes about it Ukrainian Truth.

On January 18, the website of the Office of the Inspector General of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) published the document “Strategic Oversight Plan for Assistance to Ukraine”.
The document recalls that the US Congress has allocated more than $113 billion in aid in support of Ukraine through 11 different state bodies and institutions.
The text notes that in planning oversight, the United States seeks to “identify areas of greatest risk of fraud, waste, or abuse.”

To this end, an Interagency Working Group on Oversight in Ukraine has been created, which consists of the offices of three inspectors general (the Department of Defense, the Department of State and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) - the "Powerful Three"), as well as other inspectors general of oversight organizations throughout the US government. .
At the same time, the supervisory staff of the Mighty Three offices began holding monthly meetings to coordinate supervisory activities in Ukraine as early as June 2022.
As of December 31, 2022, the working group includes oversight organizations from the Department of Defense, the Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Defense Contracts Audit Agency, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department Department of Justice, Department of Finance, US Export-Import Bank, International Development Finance Corporation, Government Accountability Office, Audit Agency, Army Audit Agency, Maritime Audit Service.
This list also includes 17 intelligence organizations, defined by the term "US Intelligence Community", whose tasks are to collect information and conduct intelligence activities in the interests of the United States.
Teams of the Mighty Three and other departments traveled together to Ukraine to get first-hand information. These coordinated site visits build a shared understanding of the issues and play an important role in raising awareness of fraud and corruption risks and reporting responsibilities.
These events include meetings with US officials in the region, Ukrainian authorities, NATO, representatives of other donors, the United Nations, and other intergovernmental international organizations.
In addition, the Mighty Three offices are reported to have criminal investigators in the United States and Germany who are focused on Ukraine cases.
The Mighty Three Agencies and the Government Accountability Office received an additional $42 million by Congress for overall appropriation oversight activities in Ukraine.

The USAID website calls for "timely reporting of misconduct that affects United States support for Ukraine and its people." To do this, posters have been published in English and Ukrainian, which indicate how and what can be confidentially notified.
Earlier, it was unofficially reported that the White House plans to conclude a contract by February 2023 to implement a three-year initiative aimed at monitoring military and financial assistance provided to Ukraine called “Monitoring, Evaluation and Audit Services for Ukraine” (Monitoring, Evaluation and Audit Services for Ukraine Reporting), or MEASURE.
On January 26, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland announced that auditors were in Kyiv this week to ensure accountability for U.S. military and financial aid.
