The United States will continue to supply Ukraine drones and jeeps
US Ambassador to Ukraine Jeffrey Payette provided details of further arms supplies to Ukraine.
According to the ambassador, the United States will continue to help reform the economy of Ukraine, as well as assist in the preparation of its Armed Forces.
“We will continue to provide a range of non-lethal systems, including unmanned aerial vehicles and jeeps,” the ambassador said.
Jeffrey Payette recalled that Washington has deployed a wide range of security assistance, the size of which has now reached 244 million dollars.
In particular, assistance includes night vision devices, communication systems, jeeps.
“And I was especially pleased to hear, when I met with the leadership of the anti-terrorist operation, how effectively they were able to use the anti-mortar radars provided by the United States,” the ambassador said.
In addition, Payette noted that his country provides significant economic assistance to Ukraine.
“I want to make it clear that we strongly support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people to win this military aggression carried out by Russia,” the diplomat emphasized.
Recall that in March, Ukraine got the first lot of jeeps from the US. She was met and personally inspected by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
