Travel experts have compiled a list of products that you cannot carry through the airport.
The cheapest flights company Next Vacay published this study in the hopes that it will be useful to those traveling on Thanksgiving.

Since Thanksgiving is all about food, they've put together a list of what edible treats you can and can't take on the plane.
List of things you can carry:
- baked goods (homemade or store bought);
- meat (frozen, boiled or raw);
- filling (also cooked, raw, or in a box or bag);
- casseroles; macaroni and cheese (cooked or as an ingredient to be cooked later);
- fresh vegetables; fresh fruits; candies; and spices.
Foods not allowed to take with you:
- cranberry sauce (homemade or canned);
- gravy (also homemade, canned or in a jar);
- alcohol;
- canned fruits;
- canned vegetables;
- jams;
- jelly;
- maple syrup.
“One of the best parts of Thanksgiving is sharing a delicious home-cooked meal with others,” says Next Vacay founder and CEO Naveen Dittakawi. “With travel now an option, we want to make the most of our favorite Thanksgiving dishes by delivering them to our holidays and back".

“We know the TSA can be the longest part of our journey. It is important to remember that it is allowed to carry through the checkpoint. To save time before your flight, we recommend that you carefully read TSA's instructions on what you can take with you to avoid throwing your family's secret pumpkin pie in the bin, ”he says.
