Special services of five countries accused China of concealing data on outbreak of coronavirus

China deliberately concealed or destroyed evidence of the outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. On Sunday, May 3, reported London The Daily Telegraph newspaper citing a 15-page report prepared by the Five Eyes intelligence alliance, which includes intelligence agencies from the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

The document says that the Chinese government, “posing a threat to other countries,” hid any news about the emergence of the coronavirus, forcing doctors to remain silent or kidnapping them, destroying data on the virus in laboratories and refusing to provide biomaterials to foreign scientists working on creating a vaccine.

According to the authors of the report, in early December 2019, Beijing had evidence of transmission of infection from person to person, but denied this fact until January 20. According to the document, on January 3, the National Health Committee of China ordered the destruction of coronavirus samples and not publish information about an unknown infection.

Coronavirus experiments

It follows from the report that the Australian government trained and funded a group of Chinese scientists from a laboratory involved in the genetic modification of deadly coronaviruses that can be transmitted from bats to humans and are not treatable.

This is a group of scientists led by Dr. Shi Zhengli of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which in 2013 conducted a study of feces of horseshoe-bats in a cave in Yunnan. They found that at least one of the approximately 50 viruses found in the samples was 96% genetically similar to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes atypical pneumonia COVID-19.

Scientists have also conducted studies on the synthesis of coronaviruses like SARS to determine if they can be transmitted from bats to mammals. This study, conducted in November 2015 in conjunction with the University of North Carolina, showed that a virus similar to SARS can be transmitted directly from bats to humans and is not treatable.

Disagreements in the Western intelligence agencies

As the Daily Telegraph notes, disagreements have arisen between the intelligence services belonging to the Five Eyes alliance over the origin of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. While Australian intelligence believes that the virus originated at a market in Wuhan, which is consistent with the official version of the Chinese authorities, the American intelligence community, which includes 17 agencies, including the CIA and the FBI, has not yet made a final conclusion about the origin of the virus, however Skeptical about the Australian version.
