Southwest Sale: One-Way Tickets Starting at $59
Kicked off Southwest Airlines promotion for Valentine's Day: the airline is offering one-way tickets starting at $59. The offer is valid for bookings from February 10 to February 13, 2025, until 23:59 p.m. Pacific Time. The details of the promotion are written by the publication Travel & Leisure.

While Southwest Airlines serves more than 117 airports in 11 countries, this promotion is primarily focused on domestic travel.
Ticket prices vary depending on the day of booking and the airport of departure. Examples of popular destinations from LaGuardia Airport include:
- New York (LGA) - Chicago (MDW) - $89 one way
- Washington (DCA) - Chicago (MDW) - $99 one way
- Detroit - Myrtle Beach - $109 one way
- Indianapolis - New York (LGA) - $100 one way
- San Francisco - Las Vegas - $69 one way
- Tampa - Providence - $119 one way

Travelers looking for a great deal can select a departure airport on the deal page, and Southwest will display available destinations.
Bookings must be made 21 days prior to departure and travel must be between March 3 and May 21, 2025. Seats are non-refundable. Some destinations have blackout dates when discounts are not available.
For travel from the continental U.S. to Hawaii, international destinations, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, the blackout dates are March 7 through April 19, 2025. For travel to the continental U.S. from these destinations, the blackout dates are March 14 through April 27, 2025.
Southwest noted that "fares will not be available on flights operating during very busy travel periods and holidays."

Flights within the continental U.S. are valid (unless otherwise noted) from February 10 through February 13. Flights from the continental U.S. to Hawaii and international destinations are valid from February 9 through February 12, and flights to the continental U.S. from Hawaii and international destinations are valid from February 11 through February 14.
