Employees of Samsung's subsidiary accidentally received shares of the company on 105 billion dollars

An employee of a subsidiary of Samsung Securities accidentally listed a thousand shares instead of a thousand won (about 1 dollars) per share as dividends to employees of the company, writes TJournal.

Because of his mistakes, about 3 billions worth 111,8 trillion won shares (about 105 billion dollars) were additionally issued.

16 employees Samsungwho received "ghost" shares, within a few minutes, managed to sell their part of the securities, earning about 187 million dollars. After another half an hour to representatives Samsung managed to block the sale of shares.

All participants in the incident were removed from work. Their actions affected not only the fall in the value of the company's shares by 12%, but also the refusal of one of South Korea’s largest pension funds to cooperate with Samsung.
