Employees of the American company implanted microchips
A tech firm in Wisconsin is proposing to implant microchips the size of rice grain to its employees.
Three square market will be the first US firm to use an FDA-approved device in 2004, said Todd Westby, chief executive officer of CNBC, told CNBC on Monday.
“We see this as the right way to advance innovation, such as the use of self-driving cars in recent months,” he added in an interview.
To date, 50 company employees have expressed a desire to be among the first in the United States, who implanted a tiny radio frequency identification (RFID) chip. Westby is confident that after their example all companies will follow.
The cost of the chip is $ 300, but volunteers will get it for free.

The chip is very convenient in operation: they can open the door, log in the computer and even buy food. Now you will not need to carry a map or a pass to get there or check in at work.
The company, which provides self-service “micro-markets” (a new alternative to vending machines) for businesses around the world, has adopted the idea of microchipping, already implemented in Sweden, where so-called “biohackers” implant tiny devices in volunteers at least already three years.
For those who believe that it will be easy to track down a person using a chip, Westby assures that it is impossible to track an employee using a chip, unlike a mobile phone whose location can be tracked.
He also said that the likelihood of the chip being hacked is negligible.
