A Royal Caribbean employee installed a camera in the liner's toilet and filmed how people changed and relieved themselves
A Florida resident installed a hidden camera in a toilet aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. She allegedly recorded hours of videos of people and children using the toilet or changing clothes, reports Fox35.

Jeremy Froyas was hired by Royal Caribbean as a cyber security officer in April 2004 and was fired on May 8, 2023 after the FBI opened a criminal case against him. Froyas is charged with video voyeurism and attempted possession of child exploitation material, according to an FBI criminal complaint.
Hidden camera
On April 29, 2023, Froyas boarded the Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas cruise ship from Miami, Florida. The ship was cruising around the Caribbean Sea.

The FBI claims that on April 30, Froyas set up a Wi-Fi network and a secret camera in one of the ship's bathrooms on the upper deck next to the surf attraction. The complaint states that the camera was found above a door in a location that appears to have been removed for renovations.
The passenger found the cell on May 1st.

On the camera's memory card, officials found hours of footage of 150 people, including at least 40 children, using the restroom or changing into swimwear.
“We are aware of an incident that occurred aboard the Harmony of the Seas cruise on April 29th. This was immediately reported to local and federal law enforcement agencies. Authorities have removed the suspect from the ship for further investigation," Royal Caribbean said in a statement.
