A Goodwill employee in California found $ 46 thousands in donated items

A member of Goodwill, a charity in California, Jesse Diaz discovered 46 000 dollars in cash in one of the donated items.

The money was wrapped in foil and invested in one of the donated things, writes CNN.

“At first I couldn't believe it. That's a lot of money. I wasn’t even sure if the bills were real,” Diaz said.

The employee immediately informed the managers about the discovery, and they immediately began to check the receipts. It turned out that the woman gave a relative's things to charity after he died. She could not even imagine that there was money inside.

The money was returned to the woman, and Diaz admitted that he would have done so again if this happened again.
