Trump's social network is looking for employees who sympathize with the 45th president: no one wants to work there

The organization of the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump Truth Social is trying to hire IT employees in his company. But no one wants to take on this job. Read more about the reasons told the publication Yahoo!.

Truth Social launched on the App Store in February, and Trump has touted the app as his alternative to Big Tech, which he claims censors right-wing views.

Launching the app was fraught with technical difficulties and many users found themselves on a long waiting list when they tried to register.

Three sources familiar with the Trump Media and Technology Group said the company shunned the hiring of left-wing employees and favored the far right, a requirement that significantly narrowed the selection of tech candidates.

The source said that in at least one case, the company's recruiters looked at a potential candidate's social media to assess his political views.

Three people familiar with TMTG recruiting said that moderate and left-wing tech workers are often unwilling to work for the company.

It was later revealed that the company struggled to hire employees, regardless of their views.

One person contacted by TMTG said he opposes Trump's policies and has never supported him.

Digital World Acquisition Corp, a SPAC that is currently trying to acquire TMTG, has listed Trump's previous failed ventures, including Trump Taj Mahal, Trump University and Trump Vodka, as a risk factor for investors.

Even the workers who agreed to work for TMTG took steps to hide this fact. When Reuters examined the biographies of the company's employees on social media, it found that some of them did not mention their work at TMTG.

According to one source, some employees fear that being associated with the company could harm their future career prospects.

Digital World's regulatory filing states that as of March 31, 2022, TMTG had about 40 employees.

Shannon Devine, managing partner at investor relations firm MZ Group, said the report contains "false and defamatory statements and includes misleading statements and omits material facts."

At the same time, Devine did not specify which parts of the reports were false.
