Snow Flurry: New York suddenly covered with a cloud of snow
A blizzard began to move rapidly toward New York on Wednesday, December 18th. Many residents were taken by surprise when the city was suddenly covered with a cloud of snow. This publication writes CNN.
According to the National Weather Service in New York, more than a centimeter of snow subsequently formed in Central Park.
Twitter users posted a video of the flurry and how quickly it enveloped the skyscrapers.
The National Weather Service issued a squall warning on December 18 at 16:15 for parts of New York, including the city and parts of Long Island, as well as southern Connecticut. The warning remained valid until 17:30.
